More pics from Dogenzaka, Shibuya, Tokyo. Enjoy.
a little street in Shibuya. Lots of cool bars around this place.
Yup, had to take a picture!
Just a dark street. Too bad the picture’s blurry, I’ll try to take a better one next time - uploading this for reference if I ever do so…
Kinda like how the colors turned out though. Also I’ve been too scared to go and see what’s at the end of this path (yet). Maybe next time, mystery path!
The park near my place, Rokakoen. I’ll get some more interesting shots during day time, part of the park is closed to the public at night.
(Ah oui et j’y fait mon jogging le dimanche. )
Random house near my place.

Near my place.
I like the lights on the Chinese restaurant, they look cheap but there’s just so many, it livens up this otherwise quiet crossroad.
While I was taking the pictures (it took me some time to get it right, and wait for the crossings’ lights to change), someone stopped to try and see what I was taking a picture of. The guy stayed there for maybe 2 or 3 whole minutes trying to figure it out until I was done and noticed him. I was surprised that someone would react like this in Tokyo, where interaction with complete strangers is rather limited, and it sort of confirms my feeling that a lot of japanese people are interested in photography.
Hey there everyone!
Well I’m back in Tokyo, after a 2 week trip to France for graduation, which actually turned into a 2 months wait for a visa, and there’s no gas (or hot water) in my apartment! and a letter saying that electricity will be cut as well if I don’t pay the bill.
Yay! I’m back! No, wait. I’m back but this time, to be honest, I don’t feel as hyped as I used to. I’m not sure how long I really want to be here and if it’s such a good idea, after all.
Well, it’s life, I guess. Thankfully I still have electricity (though it was supposed to be cut on the 18th?).
Anyway, there’s a huge pile of mail ads and bills waiting for me.
Later!
I’m not exactly famous for my green fingers (or thumb). Actually I’m known in my family for killing even the toughest plants. This being said, I still love them, so I try to find compromises.
So here I present you with my latest find, these cute “Tiny² Plants”. On the box, it says “Let’s grow the plant with a very small jar”. Yes, let’s!!!
Inside, there’s dehydrated earth (or whatever) and seeds. I can’t really read the manual in japanese, but it seems easy enough… Good luck little plants! We’ll see which one dies grows first!
Kau = to buy, mono = things, kaimono = shopping!!!!
SO today I bought a new friend! yup, I buy most of my friends, it’s much easier than being nice!
Isn’t he cute?! He cost me about 3000 yen, so that’s approx 30 euros (Google says it’s actually 25 euros). ps: it’s pink, not red.
He had a cat friend, and a bear friend, and a monkey friend, but they weren’t just as cute so he’ll have to get used to me. It was hard convicing myself not to buy all of them, so I decided to allow myself to buy 1 plush / week.
Can’t wait for next week!
